Build Up Kitchen Cabinets To Ceiling

build up kitchen cabinets to ceiling

Extending your kitchen cabinets to the ceiling is a great way to get that high-end-kitchen look without breaking the bank for all new cabinets. if you’ve been tossing the idea around, go for it! best. decision. ever. now, i’ve seen a lot of people extend cabinets to the ceiling with real wood.. As i promised, here are the details on how to make the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. this is the way it looked without the top part: since all that part above the cabinets was already an enclosed area (by the walls and ceiling), i decided to build a simple face frame to make it look like open boxes or cabinets up there, where i could. Our kitchen in the condo already had cabinets that went all the way to the ceiling (also an 8-foot ceiling), and they came with doors that extended all the way up. now if you’re looking for a quick project, extending the cabinets and cabinet doors all the way up is probably not the direction you would want to go..
